DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, organize, and set up professional lighting equipment on set according to production plans and instructions from the department lead
  • Assemble and position lighting gear including Fresnels, LED panels, fluorescent tubes, HMIs, ballasts, dimmers, modifiers, and support systems
  • Manage and maintain lighting cables and DMX connections, including labeling, coiling, and ensuring proper condition and organization
  • Support lighting focus and adjustments during rehearsals and live or recorded productions
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues related to lighting equipment and connections
  • Contribute to the inventory management, maintenance, and organization of lighting equipment within the department
  • Follow on-set safety procedures and maintain clear communication with the production and technical teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of professional lighting systems used in film, television, or live event environments
  • Experience assembling and dismantling technical equipment through academic training or professional experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a technical team, follow instructions, and perform effectively in fast-paced production environments
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and handle technical equipment safely
  • Intermediate level of English, with the ability to understand technical instructions and communicate with international teams
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays when required
  • Basic knowledge of electricity, DMX signal control, light metering, or cinematography principles is considered an advantage
  • Technical or vocational training in audiovisual production, electricity, electronics, or related fields
  • Proactive mindset, strong sense of responsibility, and willingness to learn and grow within the lighting department.
